UNDERSTAND OUR JIU-JITSU COMPETITION POLICIES
With over 20 years of experience, CXBJJ Championships LLC upholds established policies and best practices in hosting and promoting premier Jiu-Jitsu events.
Our competitions are designed with the athlete at the center, delivering professionally managed tournaments that provide a platform for adults, teens, and kids to showcase their skills and advance in their craft. Transparency in how each event is organized and operated is a core part of our mission, ensuring every participant and spectator understands what to expect and can focus on the excitement of competition.

Bracket Policy
All competitors are bracketed by gender by default. We may combine or separate divisions depending on competitor turnout, always using discretion to ensure fairness and safety.
-
Female youth competitors (under 17) bracketed with females by default.
-
If no suitable matches exist, they may be combined with male competitors of the same age group.
-
Parents/coaches can request female-only brackets in the registration notes. Requests will be considered but are not guaranteed.
Weight Policy
Making weight is a vital part of competition preparation. Failure to do so is unfair to opponents, disrespectful to the grappling arts, and causes delays. Competitors must register in the correct division and honor their commitment.
-
Competitors grossly outside their division will be disqualified.
-
Efforts may be made to rebracket; if not possible, disqualification will occur.
-
2-pound allowance permitted for scale variation. Abuse leads to disqualification.
-
Weight division changes allowed until 12:00 PM (noon) Friday before the event.
